This handcrafted cremation locket contains pet cremation ash and resin. This pendant is a timeless keepsake designed to hold a small portion of your loved one's ashes, keeping their memory close to your heart. It is a locket only. A chain can be purchased separately by following the link below. It serves as a gentle reminder of everlasting love and cherished moments. You can place a photo one side and the remains will be on the other side mixed with resin. The ash remains will be placed on the right side of the locket leaving room for a photo on the left unless you request it differently.

This sterling silver heart-shaped locket is slightly domed, giving it a substantial, puffed appearance. The front of the pendant has a bright finish with a lightly etched paw-print, while the smooth back has a matte finish. This locket holds two photos (the right side will include cremation ashes and resin), and includes protective plastic overlay. The interior bezel and snap closure mechanism are made of steel for strength and durability. A smooth tapered bail is fixed to the pendant—simply slide it onto a cord or chain to complete the piece.
• This locket features a snap-in ring and a protective clear plastic disc to hold each photo in place. To insert your photo, use a small watchmaker's screwdriver under the ring at the hinge side to lever the ring out of the locket. Remove the plastic protector and paper sheet from the compartment. Use the plastic cover or paper as a pattern to trim your photo to fit. Set the photo into the locket, cover it with the plastic protector and carefully snap the retainer ring back into place.

* How it works and shipping: Once you make the purchase we will email you shipping instructions. No more than 1/2 tsp of cremains are needed; any remaining DNA will be returned to you. Generally 1/2 tsp of ashes is enough for several pieces of jewelry. USPS requires cremated remains to be sent by Priority Mail Express (Cremated Remains) so your package will be handled with extra care. Your DNA material will be treated with respect and love and any unused remains will be returned with your completed keepsake.

Jewelry care:
- Resin should never be exposed to extreme temperature changes. It should not be worn when showering or washing dishes as chemical mixture would not be good for the shine on the resin. Please clean with warm water and gently rub with a soft cloth to dry.
- Sterling silver is an alloy containing metals that react with chemicals found in air and produce tarnish; high moisture levels, exposure to sunlight and contaminants such as salt water increase this reaction. Take steps to protect sterling silver by keeping it in airtight packages, use tarnish-resistant products (such as tarnish tabs or strips) that absorb harmful chemicals, and store sterling in a cool, dry place. Most tarnish is easily removed by polishing with a mild abrasive or soaking in an anti-tarnish solution.
